Warranty
Standard warranty clauses cover products made and sold by Fans Direct. Warranty clauses are per our standard terms and conditions of sale. Please email us at info@fansdirect.com.au if you require a copy.
Product Brand Name and Warranty Period
Fans Direct products carry a standard 1-year parts warranty from the date of purchase. In certain circumstances this warranty period may be varied in writing for specific projects at additional cost for each additional year of coverage sought.
Chicago Blower brand products carry the Standard 1 year Parts Only warranty unless agreed in writing with the purchaser at the time of order placement and only then upon full payment of invoice.
Macroair products carry a standard 3 Year warranty.
Manufacturers warranty terms apply
For all warranty claims the following conditions apply :-
- Warranty periods start from the date of the invoice and or supply to the customer.
- At no time is the customer to carry out rectification work on the product unless a specific written instruction is issued from Fans Direct.
- Proprietary products supplied as an add-on or extra to our fan products will carry the manufacturers warranty.
- Products being returned to Fans Direct for warranty inspection shall be the responsibility of the customer and are to be returned to the place of purchase. Fans Direct will cover return freight costs to the customer if the product is subsequently found to be warrantable.
- Fans Direct is not responsible for any costs associated with the removal, re-fitting or rectification work for goods returned for warranty inspection.
- Warranty is void for any product that has been tampered with without written consent by Fans Direct.
